Konditorei Nüsslein is founded at Dalbergsweg in Erfurt, opposite the city theatre.

1920s

The pâtisserie becomes a favourite meeting spot for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts.

1950s

Despite difficult times in the GDR, the pâtisserie stays true to its tradition and its quality.

2007

The Nüsslein tradition in Erfurt celebrates its 100th anniversary.

2011

The business moves and reopens as Café & Restaurant Nüsslein at Wenigemarkt, inside the historic Red Tower at the entrance to the Krämerbrücke.

Today

Café Nüsslein is a beloved spot for locals and visitors, known for its homemade cakes and tarts as well as Thuringian specialities and light, seasonal dishes freshly prepared with regional ingredients.
